Handle KUMO WOOD BIG BBS

Clouds floating over the landscape

The shapes of the Kumo wood big handle, designed by Ilja Huber, stem from a deep admiration for Japanese aesthetics and its ability to find beauty in everything that is light. Its name—which means “cloud” in Japanese—evokes the image of floating masses gliding over the landscape. This poetic reference translates into a design created to bring visual lightness and balance to projects that move between Japanese artisanal warmth and Scandinavian minimalist sobriety.
