The Earth's heartbeat

The Fase handle gives an industrial edge to the Pulse model, both created by the German studio Budde. Its shapes take their inspiration from the heartbeat of the Earth: a natural phenomenon discovered by geologists that proves that our planet has a constant pulse. For the design, Budde took one of the undulating phases of that heartbeat, refined it and applied it with a minimalist spirit to the Fase handle in what has become its hallmark detail.
