From his studio in Berlin, designer Ulli Budde examines conventional everyday objects and finds new solutions to transform the familiar in a way that is thoughtful and functional. Closely linked to familiar products, objects and situations, Budde’s designs are easily understood and accepted into everyday life. His way of working has enabled him to develop a strong signature style that can be both poetic and graphic, without losing sight of the functionality of the object. His work is focused on furniture, tableware and lighting projects.
