Frank Person

“A decorative accessory should be even better to touch and to use than it is to look at."

Frank Person, a native German, is a vastly experienced industrial designer. Creative, precise and painstaking, his designs are characterized by their durability and intelligent use. Working on the basis of his philosophy of conception, design and development, he is a member and co-founder of the fp.formgebung design studio. His work is brimming with sensitivity, sustainability and a distinctive industrial style that is expressed first and foremost in furniture designs. He confesses to liking knobs, handles and wall hooks because these small elements create the interface between the user and the object. In his view, making them tactile is just as important as making them visually pleasing.
